White Sox place David Robertson on paternity list

Prior to tonight's series opener at Oakland, the Chicago White Sox placed right-handed pitcher David Robertson on the Paternity List and recalled right-hander Gregory Infante from Class AAA Charlotte.

Prior to tonight's series opener at Oakland, the Chicago White Sox placed right-handed pitcher David Robertson on the Paternity List and recalled right-hander Gregory Infante from Class AAA Charlotte. Robertson is eligible to come off the paternity list after one day but may be on for as many as three.
Robertson, 32, is 4-2 with a 3.00 ERA (10 ER/30.0 IP), 44 strikeouts and 12 saves in 13 chances over 27 appearances this season, his third with the White Sox. He ranks third among American League relievers in save percentage (92.3) and 10th in strikeouts per 9.0 IP (13.20).
Infante, 29, is 0-1 with a 1.80 ERA (3 ER/15.0 IP) and 18 strikeouts in 12 games with Charlotte in 2017. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Infante also was with the White Sox from May 15-June 25, posting a 4.79 ERA (11 ER/20.2 IP) with 18 strikeouts over 19 appearances. He will wear uniform No. 63.
