White Sox Place Jake Petricka on DL; Recall Juan Minaya

Prior to tonight's game vs. the Yankees, the Chicago White Sox placed right-handed pitcher Jake Petricka on the 10-day disabled list with a right elbow strain and recalled right-hander Juan Minaya from Class AAA Charlotte.

Prior to tonight's game vs. the Yankees, the Chicago White Sox placed right-handed pitcher Jake Petricka on the 10-day disabled list with a right elbow strain and recalled right-hander Juan Minaya from Class AAA Charlotte.
Minaya, 26, has gone 1-0 with a 6.94 ERA (9 ER/11.2 IP) and 16 strikeouts in eight relief appearances over three stints with the White Sox this season (April 26, May 26-June 14 and June 26-27). He also has made 13 appearances with Charlotte, going 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA (3 ER/19.0 IP) and 15 strikeouts.
Petricka, 29, is 1-0 with a 9.28 ERA (11 ER/10.2 IP) and 13 strikeouts in nine appearances over two stints with the Sox in 2017. He also was on the disabled list from April 5-June 8 with a right lat strain.
