Following the second game of Wednesday’s doubleheader, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Thyago Vieira to Class AAA Charlotte.

 Vieira, 25, was added to the active roster between games of the doubleheader to serve as the 26th man after being optioned to Charlotte prior to the first game. He earned the win after tossing 2.0 scoreless IP with two strikeouts in the second game of today’s doubleheader vs. Baltimore.
