Yankees return to Yankee Stadium for 10-game homestand

The New York Yankees will return home on Monday, April 16, for the first game of a 10-game homestand at Yankee Stadium. The stretch will feature the Yankees' first Interleague action of the season, with two games against the Miami Marlins (Mon.-Tues., April 16-17), followed by four games against the Toronto Blue Jays (Thurs.-Sun., April 19-22) and four games against the Yankees' 2017 Wild Card Game opponents, the Minnesota Twins (Mon.-Thurs., April 23-26).

The New York Yankees will return home on Monday, April 16, for the first game of a 10-game homestand at Yankee Stadium. The stretch will feature the Yankees' first Interleague action of the season, with two games against the Miami Marlins (Mon.-Tues., April 16-17), followed by four games against the Toronto Blue Jays (Thurs.-Sun., April 19-22) and four games against the Yankees' 2017 Wild Card Game opponents, the Minnesota Twins (Mon.-Thurs., April 23-26).
Kicking off the homestand on Monday, April 16, current Yankees Aaron Judge, Gary Sánchez and Giancarlo Stanton will each receive their 2017 Silver Slugger Awards in an on-field pregame ceremony. In addition, Patti Murin - currently starring in Broadway's Frozen - will perform the national anthem.
The homestand will feature the following promotions:
• Sat., April 21 vs. Toronto: Yankees Tote Bag Day presented by MLB Network (first 40,000 guests in attendance).
• Mon., April 23 vs. Minnesota: David Wells Bobblehead Night presented by AT&T (first 18,000 guests in attendance). The Wells bobblehead is part of a 2018 limited-edition series, courtesy of AT&T. This year's set of four - which also includes Ron Guidry (June 14), CC Sabathia (July 27) and Brett Gardner (August 31) - is the sixth series in a collection. Additionally, Wells will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch in commemoration of the upcoming 20th anniversary of his May 17, 1998, perfect game.
• Wed., April 25 vs. Minnesota: Dunkin' Donuts Gift Card Night (first 18,000 guests, 21 and older).
In an effort to provide fans with increased opportunities to watch the Yankees take batting practice, Gates 6 and 8 will open 3 hours prior to the scheduled start time of all Friday night games - including Fri., April 20 vs. Toronto - as well as all Saturday games scheduled to start at 4:05 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. Guests entering the park at that time will be able to view batting practice from the Bleachers and 100 Level outfield sections of the Stadium.
The homestand will also feature 6:35 p.m. start times for select games listed below, with all Stadium Gates opening 90 minutes prior to the first pitch for these games:

• Thurs., April 19 vs. Toronto
• Tues., April 24 vs. Minnesota
• Wed., April 25 vs. Minnesota
