Yankees return to Yankee Stadium for first homestand following All-Star Break

Highlights include Military Appreciation Day, ticket specials on eight dates and promotional items on seven dates.

The New York Yankees will return home on Tuesday for their first homestand following the All-Star Game. The nine-game stretch will feature a two-game Interleague set vs. the Cincinnati Reds (Tuesday-Wednesday, July 25-26), a four-game series vs. their AL East Division rival Tampa Bay Rays (Thursday-Sunday, July 27-30) and a three-game set vs. Miguel Cabrera and the Detroit Tigers (Monday-Wednesday, July 31-August 2).
The Yankees will pay tribute to the United States Special Operations Command and the United States Armed Forces by hosting Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 29. Ceremonies will begin approximately at noon, prior to the scheduled 1:05 p.m. game vs. the Rays. As part of the festivities, the United States Army Golden Knights will parachute into Yankee Stadium. 
Following the jump, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Neil and Amanda Friedman and CohnReznick will present checks to the Warrior Foundation in a special home plate ceremony. Also taking part in the day's ceremonies will be United States Air Force Master Sergeant Jason Andrews - who will throw out the ceremonial first pitch - and country music recording artist and former Army Ranger, Keni Thomas - who will perform the national anthem and God Bless America.
The homestand will also feature seven different dates with unique promotional items. Ticket specials will run on Tuesday, July 25 (Military Personnel Game), Wednesday, July 26 (Military Personnel/Senior Citizen/Student/Youth Game), Thursday, July 27 (Military Personnel Game), Saturday, July 29 (Youth Game), Sunday, July 30 (Youth Game), Monday, July 31 (Military Personnel Game), Tuesday, August 1 (Military Personnel Game) and Wednesday, August 2 (Mastercard Half-Price/Military Personnel/Senior Citizen/Student/Youth Game).
