Elvis Andrus invests in many families and youngsters annually through many of his own initiative, Elvis' Entourage, as well as locally through Special Olympics and various youth baseball programs.
Through Elvis' Entourage, which supports families affiliated with the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, Andrus hosts youngsters with a program meet-and-greet and dinner. More of Andrus' local efforts include hosting teams from the Miracle League of DFW and Southlake for games in a suite that includes special pregame meet-and-greets, goody bags, food and refreshments. He also serves as a Board Member of the Taylor Hooton Foundation "All Me League".
Andrus participates each year with the Law Enforcement Torch Run at Globe Life Park, and makes a monetary donation to underwrite the Special Olympic summer games.
Most recently, Andrus participated in the 108 Stitches "Let's Strike Out" Cancer T-shirts with The Sunshine Kids, where a portion of the proceeds help to benefit the organization. He's also hosted many children from The Sunshine Kids organization to enjoy pregame meet-and-greets, a pregame ceremony, goody bags, food and refreshments, all in their own suite.
He continues to show support to other charitable endeavors including the Robinson Chirinos Foundation, The Michael Young Family Foundation, The Mexican Institute as well as others.
Andrus continues to serve the team in many ways by participating in the Texas Rangers Winter Caravan presented by T-Mobile, and supporting the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.
