Team Rangers is a volunteer initiative consisting of the Texas Rangers front office staff. Through various community service projects, Team Rangers goal is to effectuate positive change throughout the metroplex.
Habitat For Humanity - October 2017
Team Rangers rolled up their sleeves for a day of beautification with Trinity Habitat for Humanity for their bi-annual Cowtown Brush Up. To help keep neighborhoods vital, the Cowtown Brush Up program paints the homes of individuals or families in need of assistance. Team Rangers helped one special family spruce up their home with fresh coats of paint.
Tarrant Area Food Bank - June 2017
Team Rangers partnered with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to lend a helping hand in sorting, inspecting and repacking donated food products for distribution to a network of partner organizations in a 13-county area. This month's project yield sorting over 14,000 pounds of donated lettuce.
Meals on Wheels - April 2017
Team Rangers partnered with the VNA- Meals on Wheels Program to provide delicious and nutritious meals to the hungry and homebound. Team Rangers delivered over 300 meals as well as Rangers shirts to our neighbors in Dallas County.
Holiday Giving - December 2016
For the second consecutive year, Team Rangers partnered with The Cowboy Santas Program Inc., a charitable organization that provides toys to children from low-income Tarrant County families, during the holiday season to provide smiles to eight families. The families joined Team Rangers for a holiday dinner party at Globe Life Park, where they received all of the gifts and care packages donated by Team Rangers and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.
DFW National Cemetery Beautification - November 2016
In honor of Veterans Day, Team Rangers partnered with staff at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery to assist in preparing the grounds for their annual Veterans Day celebration by cleaning monuments, headstones and laying mulch.
Operation Home Front - August 2016
Team Rangers partnered with Operation Home Front to make 300 welcome home kits for service men and women returning home from being deployed overseas. Volunteers took a moment to write thank you notes to include in each bag to show their appreciation for all that they do to serve our country.
Atherton Elementary Beautification - May 2016
Team Rangers took over Atherton Elementary School for a three part service day, which included reading to individual classrooms, a beautification project where they constructed an outside learning area in their science courtyard, as well as incorporated MLB's Play Ball initiative with a baseball clinic inspired recess.
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon - March 2016
Team Rangers and just keep livin' students partnered together once again to volunteer at the annual Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Marathon. Thanks to the volunteer, over 12,000 runners were well hydrated at the Rangers water station.
Mercy Street - January 2016
On Martin Luther King Day Team Rangers and jkl students joined forces for a day of service with community partner Mercy Street. Volunteers helped organize equipment and storage units in preparation for the new Rangers Urban Youth Academy set to break ground Friday, January 22, 2016.

Team Rangers joined the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation and Arlington non-profit organizations at the Leavitt Pavilion to celebrate North Texas Giving Day. Thanks to FOX Sports Southwest Fan Express Bus, Team Rangers helped to bring spirit and awareness to a great day of giving.
Carter Jr. High Beautification - July 2015
Team Rangers descended upon Leading Off partner school, Carter Jr. High, to beautify their courtyard in preparation for the start of the school year. Team Rangers built new benches, created a flower garden, complete with Rangers gnomes, and finished off the area by sanding and painting the railings.
North Texas Food Bank - May 2015
Team Rangers joined the North Texas Food Bank for a day of sorting and packing at their warehouse. Over 1,100 pounds of food was prepped by the team.
