What is Rangers Fan Fest?

Rangers Fan Fest is the official annual winter warm-up of the Texas Rangers. Traditionally held in mid-January, this event features games and activities for kids of all ages, including interaction with past, current and future stars of the Texas Rangers.

How much do Rangers Fan Fest tickets cost?

$10 for adults, $8 for Season Ticket Holders, and $5 for Kids (13 and under).

What time do doors open for Rangers Fan Fest?

The First Base Gate opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 20.

At what age does a child require a ticket to enter?

Children under 36 inches tall do not need a Rangers Fan Fest ticket as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult.

Where's the best place to park and is there a cost for parking?

Parking is available at Lot J and is free for Fan Fest.

Can I bring in bags, backpacks and purses?

No luggage or rolling duffle bags larger than (16" x 16 x 8") will be permitted at Globe Life Park in Arlington in accordance with MLB size requirements and facility policies.

Code of Conduct

The Texas Rangers are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience at Rangers Fan Fest. Our staff will act to support an environment where:

  • Guests will enjoy the Rangers Fan Fest experience free from foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
  • Intervention with an unruly, impaired or intoxicated Guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Guests are encouraged to drink responsibly.
  • Obscene or indecent clothing will not detract from the Guest experience.
  • Guests will refrain from displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting.
  • The Rangers encourage all fans to act in a safe and orderly manner while attending Rangers Fan Fest. We ask that no guests run for any reason due to the potential cause of injury to themselves or other guests attending the event.

Concealed Handguns Policy

No weapons of any kind are allowed at the Texas Rangers Fan Fest. Weapons found during standard bag checking procedures will be confiscated upon entry.

Inspection Procedures

Guests entering Rangers Fan Fest may be subject to random inspection by electronic wanding or physical means. Carry-in items for all guests are subject to inspection by Rangers personnel prior to entrance into the Globe Life Park in Arlington.

Are animals allowed at Rangers Fan Fest?

Globe Life Park in Arlington welcomes Seeing Eye dogs or other animal assistance utilized by the disabled or visually impaired. All other animals are prohibited.

Strollers

Globe Life Park in Arlington welcomes guests that bring and utilize their own strollers. However, the use of strollers should not in any way inhibit general guest movement or block any aisle. Strollers are not available to rent. Strollers may be subject to search by event staff.

Are wheelchairs available?

Wheelchairs are not available, but Globe Life Park is an ADA-compliant facility.

How is the schedule announced for all autographs/photographs?

Fan Fest autograph schedules will not be announced in advance of Fan Fest. The main scoreboard, televisions on the concourse, and televisions in the Cholula All You Can Eat Porch will post who is signing during each session 1 hour prior to the start of that session. More information on players and schedule times are available in the insert of the program. Pre-announced autograph schedule information is subject to change without notice.

How do the general autograph sessions work?

For general autograph sessions, including alumni and minor league player sessions, entrance to the designated line will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Individuals who use wheelchairs must adhere to the same first-come, first-serve process as all other fans. Upon entrance to the autograph line, guests will receive an autograph ticket. When general autograph session lines are at the designated capacity, an END OF LINE sign will be posted and no further guests will be allowed to enter the line.

Players will sign 225 autographs per session. Players will not sign beyond their allotted time.

How do the exclusive autograph sessions work?

The first 6,000 in attendance are eligible to receive a winning autograph card for exclusive autograph sessions, which can be found in the center of the event program. Guests with winning autograph cards are encouraged to arrive at their designated autograph session 15 minutes prior to the posted time. Players will not sign beyond their allotted time. Upon entering the autograph line, guests will present their winning autograph card in exchange for an autograph ticket. Any guest in line without an autograph ticket will not be allowed to receive an autograph. Family members without an autograph ticket may wait in line with winning autograph card holder, but will be directed to the designated waiting area upon reaching the front of the line. One autograph per person with a winning autograph card.

What are Fast Passes?

Prior to the 2018 Fan Fest, Fast Passes were sold online at texasrangers.com. Up to 75 adult guests and 50 kids (13 & under) have the opportunity to skip to the front of each autograph session.

How does the photograph session work?

Throughout the day, you may have your photo taken with current and former Rangers players and personalities. Guests may use their own cameras.

Photo Booth participants may not be announced prior to the photo-taking period. Guests are welcome to line up at any time for these photo opportunities, but Rangers players and personalities will be limited to 30 minute timeslots for which they are scheduled. Guests will not be guaranteed photographs with personalities beyond the scheduled time frame. Breaks may occur between sessions.

Autographs are not permitted during photo sessions. Staff will be available to assist with photos.

How many items can I get autographed?

One autograph per person is allowed.

Can I reserve a spot in line for an autograph?

You cannot reserve a spot in line for an autograph; however you can purchase a Fast Pass if you are interested in a position in front of each autograph line. Once you leave the line for any reason, you are not able to come back to your same spot.

Once I'm inside can I exit and re-enter?

Prior to entry, each ticketed guest signed a liability waiver and received a special hand stamp. In the event you choose to leave the event and return on the same day, both the stamp and ticket are required for re-entry. Please note that hand stamps do not guarantee autographs.

Do I need to fill out a waiver for any activities?

All physical activities inside Rangers Fan Fest require a waiver. Waivers will be completed prior to entrance into Rangers Fan Fest. One waiver can be filled out for all activities.

Are there ATMs inside Rangers Fan Fest?

One ATM will be located behind the Tour Office at Section #43 and a second ATM will be located at Home plate outside of Guest Relations.

Are the activities at Rangers Fan Fest free?

Activities at Rangers Fan Fest are free to all ticketed guests. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Lost Children/Missing Persons

Guests should report a missing person at the Information booth inside the main entrance. Information staff will work closely with the Event Staff to locate the missing individual(s).

Smoking and Tobacco Policy

There are ten designated smoking areas inside Globe Life Park. Main Concourse, along the outer wall behind the striping of Section 39.

TUNNEL ACCESS

Look for signage to the stairwells outside of Sections 36 & 37 and Sections 14 & 15.

Take the media elevator at home plate to the basement.

While on the field, you can also take your photo from the Rangers Dugout and by the Visitor's Dugout. *Weather permitting

FIRST AID

If medical assistance is needed, visit First Aid located at Guest Relations inside of the Toyota Home Plate Gate or see any Rangers employee (wearing an official Rangers Fan Fest lanyard) for assistance.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms are located in the Rebecca Creek Saloon, the gate entrance in center field, lower Cholula Porch area, the Capital One Club behind Toyota Home Plate, as well as the first and third base concourse.

KID'S ZONE

Children 10 & Under can enjoy free play all day in the Kid's Zone located in center field.

RANGERS CAPTAIN

Rangers Captain will be appearing for photos and autographs in Captain's Corral located in the Kid's Zone in center field.

RUN THE BASES

Fans of all ages are invited to take their turn running the bases. Field events are subject to weather conditions.

Event hours are from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Field access is from the main concourse, entering from the First Base Commissioner's Box between Sections 35 & 36 and Third Base Commissioner's Box between Sections 16 & 17.

Photos are not permitted while Running the Bases.

Alcoholic beverages are available in the Rebecca Creek Saloon.
