- What activities or events take place at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark?
The Youth Ballpark is perfect for most outdoor activities and we can customize your event based on the activity you would like.
- Are adults allowed to use the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark?
All ages are encouraged to utilize the Youth Ballpark.
- Can we bring our own food?
With the exception of celebratory cakes, ice cream, and/or the Texas Rangers Sportservice, Delaware North Companies, no outside food, beverages, or catering may be utilized at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark.
For your convenience, we also offer a concession stand with items to purchase.
- Do you offer birthday or wedding cakes?
No, we do not offer this option. Guests will need to provide their own.
- What is the maximum occupancy for the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark stands?
We have covered seating for up to 750 guests. Additional space at each end of the seating bowl, as well as down each fence line, is available for guests who bring their own seating arrangements.
- Do you offer baseball tournaments?
We offer tournaments for age groups 6U-12U. For more information concerning tournament dates and sign ups, please visit the Youth Ballpark Tournaments page.
- Can we book the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark when the Texas Rangers have a home game?
The Youth Ballpark is available for rentals on days when the Texas Rangers play home games.
Customers who schedule events on days when there is a home game WILL be responsible for their own parking costs for that night's game. For additional information, please visit Directions and Parking.
- How does parking on non-Rangers home game days work?
The parking lots surrounding the Youth Ballpark are shared by neighboring AT&T Stadium. Youth Ballpark guests are responsible for any parking costs associated with Texas Rangers, AT&T Stadium, or any additional events in the area utilizing the parking lots.

- Can we request specific songs for the announcer to play for each batter?
No walk up music may be requested; all music played by announcer will be a predetermined playlist (host may request preferred genre).
Special announcements may be made by the announcer, provided they have been approved prior to the event ("Happy birthday, Johnny," "Congratulations on graduating, Sarah," etc.).
- Are there any specifications of footwear on the field?
There are to be NO METAL CLEATS ON THE YOUTH BALLPARK FIELD. Plastic or rubber cleats and tennis shoes are permitted.
- Is there a rainout policy for rentals?
Cancelation of the event due to inclement weather will be determined by Texas Rangers staff no later than 3 hours prior to the event. Rescheduling of the event must be a mutually agreed upon date between the host and Texas Rangers staff and will be subject to availability. If no additional availability exists, and the rental has not begun, a full refund will be administered.
