Rangers host Angels and Diamondbacks during four-game homestand, July 29-August 1

July 29 game now at 6:05 p.m.; Texas and Arizona to play makeup game on August 1

ARLINGTON, Texas-The Texas Rangers return to Arlington for a brief four-game homestand next week, hosting a three-game series with the Los Angeles Angels and a makeup game with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Angels make their first appearance at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington since Texas' first home series of the season with a 6:05 p.m. start on Monday, July 29 and 7:05 p.m. games on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 30-31. The Monday start is a schedule change due to an ESPN national telecast.

The first 30,000 fans entering the park on Tuesday receive a Reliant Rangers Reusable Bag.

Also on July 30, Whataburger and the Rangers are teaming up to strike out hunger. Bring two non-perishable food items to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on that night and receive a coupon good for a Free Whataburger while supplies last. All donations will support the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Texas concludes the homestand with a makeup game versus the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday, August 1 at 6:05 p.m. The game is a makeup for the May 29 postponement between the clubs. Fans holding tickets for the May 29 postponement may use those for the August 1 makeup game between the Rangers and Diamondbacks.
