CBC 11 & Texas Rangers present "Weather Day" for local students

CBS 11 meteorologists will present an educational pre-game weather presentation to area schoolchildren attending the Thursday, May 18, Texas Rangers game at Globe Life Park in Arlington. This marks the 12th year of this springtime tradition in North Texas.

CBS 11 meteorologists will present an educational pre-game weather presentation to area schoolchildren attending the Thursday, May 18, Texas Rangers game at Globe Life Park in Arlington. This marks the 12th year of this springtime tradition in North Texas.
 
CBS 11 Meteorologists Scott Padgett, Jeff Jamison and Jeff Ray will host a "Texas Weather Experts" class, with special appearances by Rangers Captain and the Six-Shooters squad, at approximately 10:00 a.m. The presentation will include interactive lessons, demonstrations and experiments designed to teach students about the following topics:
Admission to Weather Day is open to anyone with the purchase of a ticket to the May 18th Rangers game against the Phillies (1:05 p.m. first pitch). Gates will open at 9:30 a.m.
