Rangers to host Diamondbacks & Angels during 6-game homestand, Aug. 13-19

The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Park in Arlington on Monday, August 13, opening a six game homestand against the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels.

The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Park in Arlington on Monday, August 13, opening a six game homestand against the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels. 
A two-game set with the Diamondbacks kicks off the homestand. The two teams match up at 7:05 p.m. on Monday, August 13, and Tuesday, August 14. 
The Angels arrive Thursday, August 16, to open a four-game series that includes 7:05 p.m. contests Thursday, August 16; Friday, August 17; and Saturday, August 18. A 2:05 p.m. game Sunday, August 19, wraps up the homestand. 
Thursday marks another Military Appreciation Night, as the Rangers will honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard. Tickets for the game purchased through texasrangers.com/themenights will receive a limited edition, Coast Guard themed Rangers cap.  
Korean Heritage Night will be celebrated at Globe Life Park on Friday. Festivities will include a pre-game gift exchange with Myong H Pak, Vice President of the Korean Society of Dallas. And Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo will sign autographs at 5:00 p.m., exclusively for fans who purchase the Korean Heritage Theme Night ticket through texasrangers.com/themenights.  
T-Mobile Friday Fireworks with a Class Reunion 1978 theme will follow Friday's game.
On Saturday, the first 15,000 fans will receive a Coca-Cola/Walmart Nomar Mazara Bobblehead.
Saturday marks the conclusion of the Baseball Tomorrow Fund Equipment drive, as fans are encouraged to drop off new and gently used baseball and softball equipment to benefit the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex, presented by Toyota. Equipment can be dropped off at all gates from 4:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m.
The Rangers will honor educators from across north Texas for Teacher Appreciation Night on Saturday. All Region 10 & 11 district teachers of the year will be recognized on the field before the game. And tickets purchased through texasrangers.com/themenights will receive a special teacher appreciation t-shirt. 
After Saturday's contest, Casey Donahew will take the stage for a post-game concert presented by Budweiser. 
The concerts continue Sunday, when MercyMe, presented by Buckner International, will perform following the game.
For both concerts, admission is included with a ticket for that day's game. Field passes for closer access to the show are available at texasrangers.com/concerts.
Sunday also marks another Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday, with $1 ice cream for fans 13 and younger.
