Rangers to host Rockies during 3-game homestand, June 15-17

The Texas Rangers will be back in Arlington on Friday, June 15, for an interleague series against the Colorado Rockies at Globe Life Park.

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers will be back in Arlington on Friday, June 15, for an interleague series against the Colorado Rockies at Globe Life Park.
The weekend series features a 7:05 p.m. contest on Friday, June 15; a 3:05 game on Saturday, June 16; and concludes with a 2:05 p.m. matchup on Sunday, June 17.
On Friday, the Rangers will honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Army with Army Appreciation Night.
Colonel T. Glenn Moore, whose distinguished military career spanned over 28 years and included over 2,000 hours flight time as a Chinook pilot, will throw out an honorary first pitch as part of the night's pre-game ceremonies.
During this season's series of Military Appreciation Nights, the Rangers honored the Marines on May 21. The schedule also includes nights for Special Operations Forces on June 27, the Navy on July 3, the Air Force on July 4, and the Coast Guard on August 16. On each of those dates, a Rangers cap themed to honor that branch of the military, will be available with the Theme Night ticket. Theme Night tickets must be purchased by visiting texasrangers.com/themenights, and a limited number of caps are available.
Friday also marks another installment of Texas Rangers FOX Sports Southwest University Days, as Texas A&M takes its turn in the spotlight. Fans can purchase tickets for Texas A&M UDays at texasrangers.com/udays and arrive early to receive a special edition, Rangers cap themed in Aggie colors. The hats are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Following the contest, T-Mobile Friday Fireworks will celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Grease".
On Saturday, the first 15,000 fans will receive a Dr Pepper/Albertsons Adrian Beltre Best Friends Bobblehead. The giveaway is the first in a series of two, with the Elvis Andrus portion on the calendar for Saturday, July 21.
The homestand concludes Sunday, when the first 15,000 fans will receive FSSW/Southwest Airlines Rangers Reversible Bucket Hats.
Sunday is also another Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday, with $1 ice cream for those 13 and younger.
With All-Star voting officially underway, fans can submit their ballots at the voting station behind section 30 on the main concourse through the sixth inning of each home game. Fans who submit the maximum five ballots will receive a Texas Rangers gift.
