SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Rangers had two Odors playing together for two innings on Saturday. Both were named Rougned Odor.
The one everybody knows is Rougned Roberto Odor, the starting second baseman for the Texas Rangers. The new one was Rougned Jose Odor, the younger brother by four years.
Odor the elder was at his regular second base spot for the first seven innings of the Rangers' 7-6 loss to the Royals on Saturday. The younger Odor came over to Minor League camp as an extra player and played the final four innings. He was at shortstop for the first two, so he could be next to his brother.

Older brother said it was one of the top highlights of his career.
"This is the first time I played with him," Odor said. "It's unbelievable to get to play with your brother on the same team, especially with him at shortstop. It was really nice."

Odor said he had no advanced notice that his little brother would be joining him.
"I saw him here, and I was like, 'Why didn't you tell me you were going to be with us today?'" Odor said. "He was like, 'I didn't know, either.'"
The younger Odor, who played last year in the Dominican Summer League, went 1-for-2 at the plate. He had a ninth-inning single in the Rangers' three-run rally as they almost came back to tie the game.
"I'm very happy for playing with my brother," little brother said. "I give much thanks to God for the opportunity. It was a dream to play with him. I want to do it again."
