Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation launches year-end giving campaign

The Texas Rangers and The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation launched their end-of-year giving campaign on Giving Tuesday today, Tuesday, November 27.

The Texas Rangers and The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation launched their end-of-year giving campaign on Giving Tuesday today, Tuesday, November 27. u5:p
Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus, who has been active in giving back to the community during his time with the Rangers, is serving as the face of the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation's 2018 Holiday Gift Catalog. u5:p
This year, Enchant has partnered with the Rangers Foundation, contributing a dollar-for-dollar matching gift for all funds raised up to $20,000 as part of the campaign. Enchant, which features the world's largest Christmas light maze, opened on the field at Globe Life Park in Arlington on Friday, November 23 and will run through Sunday, December 30. u5:p

Your generosity helps us impact kids at the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex, presented by Toyota, and helps us support kids across the Rangers five state territory," said Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation Executive Director Karin Morris.u5:p
Selecting a donation amount for year-end-giving may be done through an online gift catalog, enabling fans to donate towards tangible items. Items will be geared toward benefitting athletes at the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex, Presented by Toyota.u5:p
Donations may be made towards:u5:p
• Youth Academy RBI uniform for one athlete - $25
• New baseball glove for Academy participant - $50
• Baseballs or softballs for instruction at the Youth Academy - $100
• Cost of one month of programming expenses for a Youth Academy participant - $250
• One tablet computer for educational program use at the Youth Academy - $500
• Fund one semester for one of the Texas Rangers Foundation Scholarship programs - $1,000
