Rangers recall Lindblom, designate McClellan

The Rangers recalled right-hander Josh Lindblom from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday and designated reliever Kyle McClellan for assignment.

Lindblom is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in four starts for the Rangers this season. He has posted a 7-0 mark and 1.99 ERA in 11 outings (10 starts) with Round Rock.

McClellan went 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA in seven relief appearances with the Rangers. In six games with Round Rock, the righty has logged a 2.57 ERA.

The Rangers have 10 days to trade, release or outright McClellan to the Minors.
