  • Hit .346/.431/.515 (82-for-237) as a junior and led the team in avg., hits, home runs (8), doubles (14, tied) and RBI (45)…named first team All-Conference USA following the season…also named to the conference's All-Tournament Team, one of two Rice players to make it.
  • Was named Conference USA's Freshman of the Year in 2016 after batting .336 (75-for-223) with 15 2B, 3 3B, 3 HR and 41 RBI.

  • Is the highest selection ever out of St. Louis University…is the program's all-time leader with 270 SO.
  • Went to Blue Valley Southwest (Kansas) HS, where he was named All-Metro Player of the Year by the Kansas City Star and the state's High School Pitcher of the Year by Prep Baseball Report as a senior…threw a perfect game and a no-hitter in the Class 5A state tournament as a junior.

  • Earned three selections to an All-American award…named first team All-American by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, second team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and second team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association…among his other honors were California Collegiate Athletic Association Most Valuable Pitcher and first team All-CCAA.
  • Pitched three seasons at Cal State Northridge before transferring to Cal St. Stanislaus.
  • Previously selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 39th round of the 2014 June Draft.
