BALTIMORE -- The Rays' recent power show continued early in the series finale with the Orioles on Thursday night as they hit two-run homers in each of the first two innings for a four-run lead that helped Tampa Bay to a 9-5 victory at Camden Yards.
C.J. Cron homered as the second batter of the game, hitting a two-run shot, and Wilson Ramos did the same thing an inning later for a 4-0 lead from which the struggling Orioles could not bounce back.
"Our offense is hot right now," Rays manager Kevin Cash said. "It seems like we're not missing pitches. C.J.'s home run, then Wilson's home run the following inning. A lot of good things happened offensively again for us tonight."

Cron hit a two-run homer to center after Denard Span led off the game with a walk, crushing a low pitch from right-hander Dylan Bundy.
Cron has a team-high six home runs and is tied with Span for the RBI lead at 17.
"Really, we're all swinging the bat well, and that doesn't happen very often in the big leagues," Cron said. "It's nice to get a couple there early, give [starter Chris Archer] some runs, and then we were even able to tack on a few more."
In the second, Ramos belted his two-run homer to left after Joey Wendle led off with a double.
The Rays have won six in a row, including a club record of at least eight runs scored in five straight games.

Those home runs helped Archer (2-1) to early leads of 6-0 and 8-2. He gave up four runs on 11 hits in 5 1/3 innings but because the Rays (10-13) had such a big lead, the right-hander said he simply went to attack mode.
"We've pitched well over the past probably 10 days but our offense has been even better," Archer said. "That's what winning teams do. You score runs and you throw the ball well."
