Rays open two-team, seven-game homestand

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—The Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field on Monday for a two-team, seven-game homestand against the Baltimore Orioles (August 16-19) and Chicago White Sox (August 20-22).

The 2021 Rays season is presented by Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Monday, August 16 vs. Baltimore Orioles

  • First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
  • Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.
  • Ceremonial First Pitch: Miss Florida 2021, Leah Roddenberry

Tuesday, August 17 vs. Baltimore Orioles

  • First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
  • Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.
  • Tuesday’s Champion: Before every Tuesday home game, the Rays recognize a child from the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Children’s Dream Fund as a part of the “Tuesday’s Champion” program, presented by RIPA & Associates. The Rays will recognize 17-year-old Alora Fields from the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a ceremonial first pitch.

Wednesday, August 18 vs. Baltimore Orioles

  • First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
  • Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.
  • Salute to Service: Active duty military, retired and honorably discharged veterans, licensed K-12 teachers and first responders can receive two (2) complimentary tickets through the Salute to Service program, presented by Jabil Inc., by visiting RaysBaseball.com/Military, RaysBaseball.com/Teachers and RaysBaseball.com/FirstResponders. This offer expires the night before the game at midnight. To participate, eligible fans will need to be verified by ID.me, a third party, MLB-approved verification service.

Friday, August 20 vs. Chicago White Sox

  • First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.
  • Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.
  • Beer Special: $5 Budweiser and Bud Lights will be available for all fans 21 years and older at select stands.
  • Pride Night Ticket Special: For $30, fans receive one (1) ticket in Sections 124-134 and a Rays Pride fanny pack. Tickets are available exclusively through the MLB Ballpark app or online at RaysBaseball.com/pride.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine and Health Screening: In partnership with Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, Metro Inclusive Health will be outside Gate 4 with its Mobile Health Unit to offer first dose Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to anyone 12 years of age or older. Anyone who receives the vaccine will receive a voucher good for two (2) tickets to a future 2021 home game, as well as a $25 gift card. HIV & HCV testing, health screenings and community health navigation will also be available at no cost.

  • Ceremonial First Pitch: Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, Chris Sprowls
  • Promotion: Tyler Glasnow Bobblehead presented by Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. Available to all fans while supplies last.
  • Devil Rays Day: The Rays will wear their Nike white alternate throwback Devil Rays jerseys and navy blue New Era retro caps. This will be the fourth of five dates the Rays wear the throwback jerseys and caps.

Sunday, August 22 vs. Chicago White Sox

  • Gates Open: 11:40 a.m.
  • Promotion: Sports Bracelet. Available for fans 14 years and under while supplies last.
