Reds, Cincinnati & NKY Toyota Dealers To Give Away The TUNDRA

After Jesse Winker's home run on June 9 came within 3 inches of the Toyota sign in right center field, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers voted to give away the TUNDRA anyway.

June 10th, 2018

The Reds and your Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers have been running a promotion for 11 years: If a Reds player hits the Toyota sign out stretched between the Power Stacks, a contestant - by registering at one of these dealers - wins the TUNDRA on the elevator shaft in left-center field.
The sign is 430 feet away. No Reds player has hit it and the Toyota Dealers have been generous in giving the TUNDRA to a charity or fan each of the previous years.
Saturday, Jesse Winker hit a ball within approximately three inches of the sign.
The Toyota Dealers - including Kings Toyota, Joseph Toyota, Beechmont Toyota, Performance Toyota, Kerry Toyota and Dry Ridge Toyota - have voted to give the TUNDRA to Saturday's contestant, Jamie Wemken of Independence, Kentucky.
Because no player had come close to hitting the sign, the Toyota Dealers acted quickly and determined that for this occasion, one time only, close is good enough.
The Reds would like to thank our great partner - your Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers. for making this lucky fan a very happy fan.
The Reds will recognize this great gesture at one of the upcoming weekend home stands.
Thanks to your Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Toyota Dealers, who invite fans to register to be a contestant for an upcoming game.
