Here's a look at Wednesday’s top Minor League performers from each team's Top 30 Prospects list:

Rangers: Justin Foscue, 2B (MLB No. 85), Double-A Frisco
Foscue only had two plate appearances before exiting the game, but that was all he needed to leave his offensive imprint. The second baseman hit his second homer in as many days, smacked a double and drove in four runs. It was Foscue's first time posting two hits in back-to-back games since his first two contests with Frisco. Foscue is 6-for-16 (.375) in his past five games with two doubles and six RBIs. Blue Jays: Otto Lopez, INF/OF (No. 6), Triple-A Buffalo
Kevin Smith, SS (No. 10), Triple-A Buffalo
Buffalo put up a 20-piece against Rochester and leading the way were Lopez and Smith, both of whom stuffed the box score. Lopez had his best game of the season, walking once totaling four hits, including two doubles and a homer for good measure, matching his career high of nine total bases. The walk that Lopez drew was his first of the month and, interestingly enough, he currently has a higher batting average (.298) than on-base percentage (.286).

Smith enjoyed quite the night of his own, racking up a career-high five hits, one of which was a double, and driving in two runs. Since returning from the big league club, Smith has been on a tear. In his past four games, Smith is 8-for-18 (.444) with two doubles and three RBIs. While Smith has struggled in his limited time with the Blue Jays, he’s been a force with Buffalo, slashing .295/.377/.575 with 19 homers and 16 steals on the season. Blue Jays prospect stats »

Red Sox: Ronaldo Hernandez, C (No. 22), Double-A Portland
Hernandez homered twice in a ballgame for the first time since 2018, when he achieved the feat three times en route to 21 long balls. The backstop’s 16 home runs are only behind Adley Rutschman’s 18 homers for the most in Double-A Northeast. Hernandez has been heating up as of late and entered Wednesday slashing .313/.353/.438. Reds: Jose Torres, SS (No. 22), Low-A Daytona
Torres continued the blazing fast start to his professional career, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple and four RBIs in his best game thus far. It was Torres’ fifth multihit game this season, all but one of which has come this month. In 12 games in September, Torres is slashing .342/.409/.474 with four extra-base hits (three doubles, one homer). Reds prospect stats »

Royals: Nick Loftin, SS (No. 10), High-A Quad Cities
Loftin is having some kind of September. The shortstop continued his white-hot stretch with three hits, a homer, a double and four RBIs. At the conclusion of Wednesday, Loftin was slashing .452/.556/.619 in September with more games of at least three hits (3) than no hits (2). Loftin’s first full year of professional ball has been a success so far as the shortstop is hitting .291 with an OPS of .845 with 10 homers and 11 steals. Royals prospect stats »
