On Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, legendary broadcaster Marty Brennaman signed off a Reds radio broadcast for the final time, capping off an amazing 46-year run with the club. Since first joining the Reds radio booth in 1974, the Hall of Famer has been an icon in Reds Country and will forever be the "Voice of the Reds" for generations of fans.
Festivities to celebrate Marty's career throughout September's "Month of Marty" included broadcasts from a special radio booth in the seating bowl at Great American Ball Park, a proclamation of "Marty Brennaman Day" on Sept. 26 by Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, an opportunity for fans to meet Marty at the ballpark gates before several games, a unique broadcast of Marty with his son Thom for his penultimate game and much more. Take a look below to re-live many of these moments as we salute the career of Marty Brennaman!
