Bogaerts exits with right hamstring cramp

Red Sox shortstop expects to be in starting lineup Sunday

ST. PETERSBURG -- Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts left Saturday's 6-5, 15-inning loss to the Rays with cramping in his right hamstring.

Bogaerts exited in the bottom of the 11th inning, but thinks he can start Sunday.

With nine losses in a row, the Red Sox can ill-afford to lose Bogaerts at this juncture.

"Normally I get it mostly in my calves," Bogaerts said. "I've had that a few times this year, maybe twice. This was probably the first time I've felt it in my hamstring area during the season. But I think I'll be ready for [Sunday]."

Shane Victorino (disabled list), David Ortiz (right calf) and Mike Napoli (flu, left ring finger discomfort) were all out of Saturday's starting lineup.

Ortiz, who pinch-hit Saturday, should be back Sunday, but Napoli might be out again.
