When life-long Red Sox fan and Travel Channel host Jack Maxwell lived the dream of going back to Fenway Park last summer, he took along the perfect tour guide: Ryan Dempster.
Dempster's passion for baseball is matched only by his overall zest for life and witty sense of humor.
Their magical day and night has been chronicled for all to see in Monday's latest edition of "Booze Traveler," which will premiere on the Travel Channel at 9 a.m. ET.
Dempster, who currently works for MLB Network and the Chicago Cubs, is always welcomed back to Fenway Park. The righty pitched for the 2013 World Series champion Red Sox.
Dempster took Maxwell through the ins and outs of Fenway as if it was his own living room.

As the two men greeted each other outside the park, Maxwell said, "Take me to the promised land."
Dempster assured that wouldn't be a problem.
"We will get on the field and ready to go," Dempster said. "We'll have a couple of cocktails upstairs. We'll do it all!"
When they walked into the ballpark, Maxwell practically gasped as he walked through the tunnel and into Fenway.
"Ah, the Fens. Fenway Park," Maxwell said. "Look at that. I can't believe it."
When they went out to the field to prepare for the first pitch Maxwell would be throwing that night, Dempster brought along a key to the Green Monster. The two men made their way inside the fabled wall, and Maxwell was able to put a signature in there.
Later, there was more fun that Maxwell never could have imagined.

Dempster took him to a spot on the roof level mainly just known to Red Sox employees called Fenway Farms.
Yes, the Red Sox have their own produce stand in their ballpark.
Dempster noted to Maxwell that they not only use the fresh vegetables for the food that is sold inside the park, but also for mints and herbs in the drinks.
Not long after that, Dempster and Maxwell were as relaxed as could be, sitting outside while sipping on their Fenway mojitos.
"This is amazing," Maxwell said. "Are you kidding me? I'm with Ryan Dempster and the chef, and at Fenway Park, and I'm going to throw out the first pitch. This has to be a prank."
Dempster couldn't resist the setup line his new friend gave him.
"Yeah, you're actually throwing it out in the parking lot," Dempster said.

By the time Maxwell finally did get to throw that pitch, it was a beauty, put right down the middle for a strike to Dempster.
"Right down the middle, man. Nasty," Dempster said as they embraced. "That's a first pitch right here."
