Prior to today's games, the Boston Red Sox made the following roster moves:
· Infielder Marco Hernandez was optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket.
· Right-handed pitcher Kyle Martin was reassigned to minor league camp.
President of Baseball Operations David Dombrowski made the announcement.
With these moves, the Red Sox now have 46 players in big league camp, including 34 players from the 40-man roster and 12 non-roster invitees.
