Red Sox sign 12 additional 2022 Draft picks

BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox have signed 12 additional players selected in the 2022 MLB First-Year Player Draft: outfielders Roman Anthony (2nd round compensation pick) and Deundre Jones (17th round); infielder Chase Meidroth (4th round); catcher Brooks Brannon (9th round); left-handed pitchers Dalton Rogers (3rd round), Noah Dean (5th round), Hayden Mullins (12th round), Nathan Landry (15th round), and Connor Butler (20th round); and right-handed pitchers Marques Johnson (11th round), Garrett Ramsey (16th round), and Jaret Godman (19th round). All signees will report to Fort Myers, FL.

Director of Amateur Scouting Paul Toboni made the announcement.

In all, 18 of the 21 players selected by Boston in the 2022 MLB First-Year Player Draft have been signed to contracts, including each of the club’s first 13 selections.
