PHOENIX -- While the current Rockies club tries to make its playoff mark, the squad that 10 years ago brought the greatest moments in team history is planning a rousing reunion at Coors Field.
First baseman Todd Helton, arguably the most beloved figure in club history and the only Rockies player honored with a retired number (17), will join 16 of his 2007 teammates and three coaches for the "Rocktober" reunion before Friday's 6:40 p.m. MT game against the Padres. With this year's Rockies leading for the second NL Wild Card spot, the organization will honor a team that won 21 of 22 games to make it to the World Series before a sweep at the hands of the Red Sox.
