SCOTTSDALE – The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Chi Chi González and have placed right-handed pitcher Scott Oberg on the 60-day injured list after undergoing a procedure to relieve blood clots in his right elbow.

Additionally, the Rockies have optioned left-handed pitcher Lucas Gilbreath and infielder Colton Welker to Triple-A Albuquerque, and have reassigned the following non-roster invitees to Minor League camp: catchers José Briceño, Chris Rabago and Brian Serven, infielders Greg Bird, Eric Stamets and Alan Trejo and outfielder Ryan Vilade.
