Here are the club reps for 2022 MLB Draft

July 13th, 2022

The stars of tomorrow and the legends of yesteryear will be on hand in Los Angeles when the 2022 MLB Draft begins on Sunday.

Nine top Draft prospects will be on site at Xbox Plaza in downtown L.A., and they will be joined by former All-Stars, MVPs and World Series champions who will serve as team representatives during the Draft.

One of those team representatives is a Hall of Famer as Rollie Fingers will be the A’s club rep. Other notables include five-time All-Star Fred McGriff (Braves), 1983 World Series MVP Rick Dempsey (Orioles), 1982 NL Rookie of the Year Steve Sax (Dodgers), 1984 NL Cy Young Award winner Rick Sutcliffe (Cubs) and World Series-winning manager Jack McKeon (Nationals).

Of the nine Draft prospects scheduled to be in attendance, five are ranked inside the Top 20 by MLB Pipeline: second baseman Termarr Johnson (No. 4), catcher Kevin Parada (No. 6), outfielder Justin Crawford (No. 13), left-handed pitcher Brandon Barriera (No. 15) and shortstop Zach Neto (No. 17).

The first two rounds of the 20-round MLB Draft will air on MLB Network, ESPN and MLB.com on Sunday, beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Day 2 of the Draft, featuring Rounds 3-10, will air exclusively on MLB.com on Monday, beginning at 2 p.m. Rounds 11-20 will follow on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
