Iowa built an early 7-0 lead, forcing Omaha to settle for a 2-2 series split. Starter Ryan Verdugo yielded eight runs (five earned) on nine hits and four walks over 4 2/3 innings. David Lough and Xavier Nady both homered for the second straight day. Adam Moore added a solo shot and Brandon Wood recorded two RBIs.

NW Arkansas Naturals (8-15)

Tulsa 4, Northwest Arkansas 3
LP: Santiago Garrido (0-2)
HR: Angel Franco (1)

Northwest Arkansas lost on a walk-off as Tulsa plated three in the ninth. Starter Brooks Pounders limited the Drillers to an unearned run on one hit and one walk over five innings. Angel Franco tied the game at 1 with his first Double-A homer in the fourth. Manuel Pina added a two-run double in the seventh.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (9-14)

Winston-Salem 4, Wilmington 1
LP: Aaron Brooks (0-3)
HR: None

Wilmington was swept in a three-game set at home. Aaron Brooks yielded one run on six hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings. The Blue Rocks were held hitless until the sixth by Chris Bassitt. Jack Lopez doubled home Justin Trapp in the eighth for Wilmington's lone run. The Blue Rocks host Salem (Red Sox) tonight.

Lexington broke open a 4-4 game with three runs in the eighth. Ethan Chapman doubled home the go-ahead run. Bubba Starling recorded a solo homer, two walks and two runs. Terrance Gore added his 14th stolen base, which places him second in the league. Chas Byrne (3 IP) earned the relief win.
