Omaha lost in 10 innings as Tucson plated three runs without the ball leaving the infield. Starter Justin Marks (7.0 IP, 5 H, 2 ER) kept Tucson scoreless after allowing two runs in the first. Rehabbing Padres hurler Clayton Richard held Omaha without a run until the sixth. Christian Colon singled, tripled and scored a run. Xavier Nady added two hits and a run.

NW Arkansas Naturals (14-28)

The Naturals were off on Tuesday after a trek from Springdale to Corpus Christi, where they visit Houston's Double-A squad tonight. Yordano Ventura (3-1, 1.79 ERA) is the scheduled starter.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (21-23)

Wilmington 4, Lynchburg 3

Wilmington withstood a ninth-inning rally to win the opener over Lynchburg. Starter Aaron Brooks was sensational, holding the Hillcats scoreless on five hits and no walks over 8.0 innings. Lynchburg scored three in the ninth, including two unearned runs. Danny Mateo posted three hits and two runs for the Blue Rocks. Cheslor Cuthbert doubled home a run in the fourth and finished with two RBI.

Michael Antonio's two-run single capped a three-run eighth inning as Lexington won a fourth straight. Yowill Espinal was 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored. Starter Christian Binford fanned eight and was charged with three unearned runs over 6.0 innings.
