Royals introduce Royals Rewards

Fans Get Rewarded for Online Purchases & Social Activity

The Kansas City Royals have announced the introduction of the Royals Rewards program, a new interactive fan-engagement program. Through the free program, fans can earn points and have the opportunity to win great prizes by supporting and utilizing the club's digital programs and platforms by interacting online at and on the Royals official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. 

"Royals Rewards gives us a new way to connect with our fans and thank them for being such great supporters of the club," said Michael Bucek, Royals Vice President-Marketing & Business Development. "We're excited to be able to reward fans for engaging in all of our digital platforms."

Fans may enroll in Royals Rewards by creating a profile on or by logging into with their account information. Once a member of the Royals Rewards program, fans can connect to the club's official social media outlets to begin earning points. Other point-scoring opportunities include the purchase of Royals single-game tickets or merchandise on, checking in at games through's At The Ballpark app and more.

Points earned can be redeemed for virtual tokens used to enter Royals sweepstakes held throughout the remainder of the season. Prizes include the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at a 2013 regular season Royals game, an off-site visit from Royals mascot Sluggerrr, a mention from @Royals and a Family FunDay Sunday 4-Pack of tickets.
