Omaha Storm Chasers (56-57)

The Chasers moved to 3-0 in a four-game set at Tacoma. Teaford pitched five innings, striking out eight while allowing two runs, four hits and four walks. Francisley Bueno stranded three inherited runners on his way to two scoreless innings. Mariot fanned five over two frames to pick up his eighth save. Ben Broussard put Omaha on top with a two-run single in the first.

NW Arkansas Naturals (22-19 second half, 47-64 overall)

Northwest Arkansas won the opener against Tulsa. Adam held the Drillers to two unearned runs, three hits and two walks over six innings. Cheslor Cuthbert doubled home a pair in the fifth and finished 2-for-4 with a run scored. Mitch Canham doubled twice, drove in one and scored two times.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (16-23 second half, 49-60 overall)

Wilmington scored one in the 11th inning, only to have the Dash plate a pair in the home half. Dennis Raben went 4-for-6 with two RBIs and a run, finishing a home run shy of the cycle. Jared Schlehuber was 2-for-5 plus two RBIs and two runs. Tyler Sample (two-plus innings) and Cody Fassold (three innings) held Winston-Salem scoreless in relief.

Lexington Legends (25-15 second half, 58-50 overall)

Lexington opened with a win at Rome. Stumpf retired 18 of 19 batters over six shutout innings, allowing a single in the third. Bubba Starling was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Mark Threlkeld added two hits, an RBI and a run. Terrance Gore stole his 61st base, tying him for the league lead.

Idaho Falls Chukars (0-2 second half, 19-21 overall)

Idaho Falls finished 1-3 in the series as Orem scored seven in the second and built a 10-0 lead. Hunter Dozier, a 2013 first-round Draft pick, was 4-for-5 with two RBIs and a run for Idaho Falls. Dozier is batting .293 (46-for-157) with four home runs and 29 RBIs -- tops on the team.

Burlington Royals (18-22)

Burlington lost a lopsided opener at Princeton. The Rays have scored 32 runs over their last three games, all wins. They totaled eight runs over their previous seven games, all losses. Alfredo Escalera and Chad Johnson had two hits apiece for the Royals.

Surprise won a high-scoring game at Peoria, plating runs in six innings. Brawlun Gomez doubled twice, drove in three and scored two runs. Wander Franco had three hits, two RBIs and three runs. Herrera -- five innings pitched, seven strikeouts -- earned the win and Ryan Verdugo made a rehab appearance.
