Wednesday's Cards-Royals game time moved up to 12:10 p.m. CT

May 3rd, 2022

KANSAS CITY -- The game time for Wednesday’s series finale between the Royals and Cardinals has been moved up to account for rain in the Kansas City forecast.

Originally scheduled for 6:10 p.m. CT, first pitch will now be at 12:10 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium. This is the second time this week the two teams have had to push up a game due to the weather; Monday’s makeup game in St. Louis started earlier in the afternoon because of heavy rains.

Fans do not have to exchange their original tickets if they elect to attend Wednesday’s game. If you would like to exchange your ticket due to the time change, you must do so before first pitch on Wednesday. More information on how to do that can be found here.

Fans who currently hold or who purchase a ticket for Wednesday’s game by midnight will receive $10 in loaded value on their ticket, to be used at any Aramark concession stand or in the Royals Team store. The $10 in loaded value can be redeemed by scanning the bar code on your ticket.

Parking tickets purchased for Wednesday’s game will be valid for any game played during the 2022 season.

Tuesday’s pitching plan remains unchanged, with Royals starter Brad Keller facing right-hander Dakota Hudson at 7:10 p.m. On Wednesday, Royals lefty Kris Bubic is scheduled to face Cardinals veteran Adam Wainwright.
