Homestand highlights: July 20-25

The Kansas City Royals will return from the All-Star Break and host Central Division opponents, the Minnesota Twins (July 20-22) and the Detroit Tigers (July 23-25).

KANSAS CITY, MO (July 19, 2018) - The Kansas City Royals will return from the All-Star Break and host Central Division opponents, the Minnesota Twins (July 20-22) and the Detroit Tigers (July 23-25). The homestand is filled with plenty of events, including Wichita State Night (July 20), 50th Season Weekend Celebrations (July 21 & 22), 50th Season T-Shirt Theme Ticket (July 23) and Junior Fire Marshall Night (July 23). Fans can also get great giveaways, including an Amos Otis bobblehead (July 21), 50th Season Mug (July 22) and a t-shirt featuring Ryan and the Wonder Dog (July 24). Please see below for more details.
Friday, July 20 - Minnesota Twins vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

Summer Fireworks - A spectacular fireworks show will follow the game, presented by Popsicle and Price Chopper.
Wichita State Night - Supporters of Wichita State University will join fellow Shocker fans for an evening of big-league action presented by FOX Sports Kansas City and Rally House. Fans who purchased Theme Tickets for this event will receive a limited-edition KC Royals cap featuring the WuShock logo and colors (photo attached). 50th Season Weekend: Giveaways and Entertainment - From T-Shirt Tuesdays and Summer Fireworks to Bobbleheads and Buck Nights, giveaways, special events and entertainment make baseball unique. The Club will celebrate the fun things that surround the game we love while also paying tribute to the broadcasters who have covered the Royals games throughout the years.

50th Season Weekend Continues: All-Star Games - The Club has hosted two All-Star Games over the last 50 seasons. We'll take a look at Major League Baseball's crown jewel events and honor some of those who have represented the Royals in the Mid-Summer Classic.

Family FunDay Sunday presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors - Each Sunday home game features freepregame interactives, entertainment for kids, plus face painters and caricature or balloon artists in the Outfield Experience. All Day Play passes for unlimited activities in the Outfield Experience can be purchased for $10. Fans have the opportunity to get pregame autographs from select players by the Royals dugout from 11:45 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. Starting at 12:15 p.m., fans can also get autographs from Royals alumni in the Royals Hall of Fame. Student Night presented by INK - Outfield Plaza or View Reserved tickets are available for Wednesday home games for youth and students with a valid ID at the Kauffman Stadium Box Office for just $10. Select tickets are also available online at www.royals.com/studentnight.  Seating is subject to availability. A special pregame Happy Hour, a hot dog and 12-ounce beer or 24-ounce soda for just $8, will be available at the Boulevard Hop Stop or Radler Station (located by the Outfield Experience stage) from the time gates open until 15 minutes before first pitch.
