Omaha Storm Chasers (65-64)

The Storm Chasers scored five in the fifth to win a third straight at Memphis, extending their division lead to 5.0 games. Ben Broussard tied the game at 2-2 with a two-run double. Brian Fletcher doubled twice, drove in two and scored a run. Felipe Paulino made a rehab start, striking out six while allowing two runs, two hits and four walks over 3.2 innings. Justin Marks followed with seven strikeouts over 5.1 shutout innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (27-29 2nd half, 52-74 overall)

Northwest Arkansas dropped the rubber game at San Antonio. Brett Eibner scored both runs for the Naturals, including a solo homer in the third, his 17th of the year. The Naturals employed five pitchers, with Brooks Pounders allowing two runs and four hits over 3.0 innings. Northwest Arkansas begins a series at Springfield (Cardinals) on Tuesday.

The Blue Rocks have dropped five in a row after a doubleheader loss at home. Yem Prades recorded two hits, an RBI and a run in game one. J.C. Sulbaran tossed 4.0 innings, allowing an unearned run on three hits and three walks. Daniel Hernandez worked 5.0 innings in the nightcap, allowing one run, three hits and a walk.

Lexington Legends (31-25 2nd half, 64-60 overall)

Greenville 1, Lexington 0 (Game Two - Seven Innings)

Each team recorded a seven-inning shutout at Greenville. Fred Ford's two-run homer put the Legends ahead in game one. Mark Donato added a solo shot, finishing 2-for-3 with two runs. Raul Mondesi added three hits in four trips. Greg Billo scattered five hits over 5.0 innings. The Legends were held to three hits in game two, with Ford posting a pair. Matt Murray went the distance, striking out seven and allowing a solo home run in the sixth.

Idaho Falls Chukars (10-8 2nd half, 29-27 overall)

The Chukars rallied from a 13-2 deficit before falling short at home. Zane Evans was 4-for-6 with three doubles, four RBI and two runs. Frank Schwindel recorded three hits, including a three run homer. Justin Jirschele, son of Omaha manager Mike Jirschele, had three hits for Great Falls.

Burlington Royals (26-30)

Burlington 6, Kingsport 0

Burlington scored three in the first en route to a shutout win at Kingsport. Sam Lewis held the Mets to five hits over 6.0 innings. Jake Newberry pitched 3.0 innings for the save. Desmond Henry doubled, walked twice and scored three runs.

Surprise Royals (8-12 2nd half, 18-30 overall)

Surprise lost at home as the Diamondbacks scored in seven different innings. Cristian Cano recorded two hits and three RBI, including a solo homer. Brandon Dulin added two hits and a run. The Royals drew 11 walks to go with eight hits.
