Omaha Storm Chasers (43-52)

12-time All-Star Manny Ramirez hit a solo homer in the ninth to lift Round Rock past Omaha. The home run followed a five-run eighth by the Storm Chasers. Chris Getz is batting .309 (17-for-56) after recording two hits and two RBI. Michael Mariot (2.0 IP, 1 H) made a spot start in place of Yordano Ventura, who is participating in Sunday's Futures Game at Citi Field. Sam Runion allowed four runs over 2.2 innings in his Triple-A debut.

NW Arkansas Naturals (11-10 2nd half, 36-55 overall)

Springfield 4, NW Arkansas 0
LP: Sugar Ray Marimon (5-10)
HR: None

The Naturals could not capitalize on nine hits in a shutout loss to Springfield. Brett Eibner, Roman Hernandez and Whit Merrifield had two safeties apiece. Sugar Ray Marimon struggled with his control, walking six over 4.0 IP, including three straight in the first for his lone run allowed. Noel Arguelles held the Cardinals scoreless over 2.0 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (12-8 2nd half, 45-45 overall)

Lynchburg at Wilmington - Postponed

Wilmington's opener vs. Lynchburg was postponed. The clubs will play one tonight and a pair of seven-inning games tomorrow. 2012 second-rounder Sam Selman (7-6, 4.01 ERA) is scheduled to start tonight.

Lexington Legends (12-8 2nd half, 45-43 overall)

Lexington 2, Delmarva 1 (14 innings)

HR: None

Lexington scored two in the 14th to win a marathon series opener. Mark Threlkeld doubled home Raul Mondesi for the tying run and scored the game-winner on Cam Gallagher's single. Crawford Simmons fanned 11 Delmarva batters while scattering three hits and three walks over 6.0 innings. Simmons, 22, missed 2012 due to injury.

Idaho Falls Chukars (8-14)

Idaho Falls 6, Helena 3
WP: Josiel Martinez (2-1)
SV: Corey Rhoney (1)
HR: Elier Hernandez (2)

Elier Hernandez hit a go-ahead two-run homer, lifting Idaho Falls to a four-game series split at Helena. Hernandez added an RBI double while Humberto Arteaga doubled twice and drove in a run. Josiel Martinez (3.1 IP, 4 H, 0 ER) earned the win in relief.

Burlington Royals (11-7)

Bluefield at Burlington - Postponed

The Burlington grounds crew employed a helicopter in an attempt to dry the outfield grass, however, play was postponed once again. No makeup date was announced. The Royals are scheduled to host Kingsport tonight, if Mother Nature allows.

Surprise Royals (7-12)

HR: Brawlun Gomez (2)

Surprise scored three times in the ninth before falling short at home. Brawlun Gomez was 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs. Greg Billo made a rehab start, striking out six over 3.2 IP while allowing just one hit, a two-run homer, along with a walk
