Omaha Storm Chasers (29-35)

Chris Dwyer limited Nashville to a run over 7.0 innings as Omaha split a four-game set. Dwyer scattered nine hits, fanned seven and did not allow a walk. Xavier Nady hit his team-leading 11th home run, a two-run shot in the first. Quintin Berry added insurance with his own two-run blast in the eighth, his first as a Storm Chaser and second of 2013.

NW Arkansas 3, Springfield 2 (Game Two - Seven Innings)

Northwest Arkansas received strong starts from Sugar Ray Marimon and Aaron Brooks in a doubleheader sweep of Springfield. Marimon threw a 7.0 inning complete game in the opener, allowing a run on five hits and a walk while fanning eight. Brooks, recently promoted from Wilmington, moved to 2-0 as he held the Cards to a run over 6.0 innings. Matt Fields hit his team-leading 15th homer in game one, finishing with four RBI in the contest. Orlando Calixte slugged a two-run homer in the nightcap.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (32-35)

Winston-Salem 5, Wilmington 3 (11 innings)

HR: None

Brent Tanner's two-run homer in the 11th resulted in a loss for Wilmington. Starter Kellen Moen limited the Dash to a run on four hits and a walk over 5.0 innings. Jack Lopez was 3-for-5 with a double, two stolen bases and two runs scored. Lane Adams and Parker Morin each drove in a run. First baseman Dennis Raben was 1-for-5 in his first game in the organization. He was Seattle's second-round pick in 2008.

Lexington Legends (33-32)

Asheville 7, Lexington 6

HR: Mark Donato (4), Cam Gallagher (1)

Lexington let a 6-1 lead slip away, capped by a three-run ninth for the Tourists. Starter Miguel Almonte yielded two runs on six hits and a walk through 5.0 innings. Mark Donato and Cam Gallagher hit two-run homers for Lexington. Gallagher's came in his second game after recovering from a broken left hand.
