Omaha Storm Chasers (29-35)

Omaha 5, Iowa 5 (suspended)

Omaha waited through a rain delay and scored four times in the first, only to see the game suspended in the sixth due to rain. The game will be completed Saturday, with a nine-inning game to follow. Danny Duffy is scheduled to make a rehab start.

NW Arkansas Naturals (22-44)

HR: Orlando Calixte (3), Brett Eibner (6)

Northwest Arkansas allowed six runs over the final two innings, including a pair of two-run homers by former Royal Ruben Gotay. Brooks Pounders pitched well, holding the Cards to two runs on four hits and two walks through seven innings. Calixte recorded three hits, including his second home run in as many games. Eibner was 2-for-4 with a solo homer while, Brian Fletcher posted three singles and a walk.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (32-36)

Winston-Salem 6, Wilmington 5

HR: None

Wilmington fell short after pulling to within a run on Jared Schlehuber's three-run double in the ninth. Schlehuber recorded two hits and a walk on the night. Kenny Swab added two doubles and two runs. Ethan Chapman walked three times and scored twice in his first game since being promoted from Lexington. Smith (3 1/3 innings, five hits, four earned runs, three walks, two strikeouts) allowed a pair of solo homers.

Lexington Legends (33-33)

Asheville 3, Lexington 2

HR: Mark Threlkeld (1)

Lexington lost a second straight one-run game to Asheville. The Tourists scored twice in the seventh off Binford (seven innings, 10 hits, one earned run, three strikeouts), with Rosell Herrera's home run the difference. Threlkeld posted two hits, including a solo homer in the fourth, and had both RBIs for Lexington.
