The Storm Chasers have won five in a row after taking a pair of seven-inning games at Fresno. Paulo Orlando put Omaha on top with a two-run homer in game one. Whit Merrifield added an RBI in the fifth, which was the difference as Fresno plated a pair in the home half. Clayton Mortenson (6.0 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 3 SO) earned the win while allowing his first earned run in 22.0 innings (0.41 ERA). Ryan Verdugo struck out nine over 6.2 shutout innings in game two, earning his fourth straight win. 15th-ranked Royals prospect Christian Colon delivered a two-run single in the second. Omaha added three more in the third, including a solo homer from Justin Maxwell.

NW Arkansas Naturals (24-44)

Springfield 5, Northwest Arkansas 4 (10 innings)

The Naturals lost on a walk-off single in the 10th. Springfield scored in five different innings, including solo homers in the second, sixth, seventh and ninth. Jason Adam went 7.1 innings, striking out eight without a walk. He allowed six hits, including the first three home runs. Max Ramirez drove in all four runs for the Naturals. He hit a solo homer in the second and a three-run shot in the third.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (32-35)

Wilmington scored four in the seventh and two in the eighth to win at home. Cody Stubbs drove in two runs, including a game-tying double in the seventh. Sixth-ranked Royals prospect Hunter Dozier was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run. He's batting .383 (18-for-47) in June. Fourth-ranked prospect Sean Manaea fanned four and walked four over 3.0 scoreless innings.

Lexington Legends (29-40)

Charleston 3, Lexington 1

The Legends lost a second straight as Charleston led wire-to-wire after plating a pair in the first. Jake Junis struck out seven over 7.0 innings, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks. Ramon Torres doubled in the first and scored on a single by Elier Hernandez. Carlos Garcia added a single and two stolen bases, giving him 12 on the year.
