Omaha Storm Chasers (29-37)

Omaha lost the completion of Friday's game as well as a nine-inning contest. Iowa scored four times in the sixth en route to a 9-5 win in the suspended game. Brett Hayes drove in two runs for Omaha. The sixth inning was pivotal again in the nightcap, as Iowa scored six times. Moore drove in three runs and had a two-run homer. Irving Falu posted three hits, an RBI and a run. Danny Duffy pitched three innings in a rehab start, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks.

Northwest Arkansas split a pair of seven-inning games at home. Springfield scored three times in the first inning of Game 1 against Ferguson (5 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 7 SO). Yem Prades singled, tripled and scored a run. Game 2 starter Edwin Carl limited Springfield to two hits over four scoreless innings while Alexander picked up a relief win in his Double-A debut. Pina finished 2-for-2 with a solo homer and a two-run double. Fields added his team-leading 16th home run.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (33-36)

Wilmington 3, Winston-Salem 2
WP: Sam Selman (5-5)
SV: Spencer Patton (1)
HR: Dennis Raben (1), Danny Mateo (7)

Wilmington held on at home after building a 3-0 lead. Raben hit his first homer as a Blue Rock, a solo shot in the second. Mateo added a two-run blast in the third, his fifth home run in a 14-game stretch. Selman limited the Dash to two runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks over six innings. Patton worked the final three innings, allowing two hits.

Lexington Legends (33-34)

Asheville 6, Lexington 1
LP: Daniel Stumpf (4-5)
HR: None

Lexington dropped to 0-3 in a four-game series. Jin-Ho Shin's second-inning single scored Michael Antonio, giving the Legends an early 1-0 lead. Asheville scored four in the third, including a three-run homer. Stumpf allowed six runs on 10 hits and three walks in 4 2/3 innings.
