Omaha Storm Chasers (25-32)

The Storm Chasers enjoyed an off day at home. Yordano Ventura is scheduled to make his Triple-A debut tonight vs. Oklahoma City (Astros). Jarrod Dyson has joined Omaha on a rehab assignment (right ankle sprain).

NW Arkansas Naturals (16-40)

Northwest Arkansas lost a lopsided game at Tulsa. Danny Duffy made his third rehab start, fanning six while allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over 4.0 innings. The lefty threw 71 pitches, 46 for strikes. His rehab assignment was transferred to Omaha this morning. Brett Eibner hit a solo homer in the sixth. Orlando Calixte finished 2-for-4 and is batting .400 over his last 10 games (16-for-40). The series continues tonight in Springdale.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (30-29)

Wilmington built a 6-1 lead en route to a second straight win over Carolina. 2012 second-round pick Sam Selman limited the Mudcats to an unearned run on three hits and four walks over 5.0 IP. Scott Alexander posted his first professional save, fanning four over the last 2.0 innings. Alexander has a 0.94 ERA with Lexington and Wilmington. Danny Mateo homered for the fourth time in seven games.

Lexington 4, Savannah 0

HR: None

Alec Mills continued his All-Star season, scattering seven hits over 7.0 innings in Lexington's shutout of Savannah. Mills fanned seven, walked none and lowered his ERA to 1.32 (6 ER in 41.0 IP). Michael Antonio posted two hits and two RBI. Terrance Gore added three singles, a run and his 31st stolen base.
