Omaha Storm Chasers (57-57)

Omaha 9, Tacoma 3
WP: Danny Duffy (3-0 with Omaha, 3-2 overall)

Omaha swept a four-game series, outscoring the Rainiers by a 25-6 count. The Chasers scored twice in each of the first four innings, providing plenty of support for Danny Duffy (5 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 9 SO). Pedro Ciriaco hit a two-run double in the first and a two-run homer in the third. Christian Colon doubled home two in the second and finished 4-for-5 with a walk and two runs. Quintin Berry and Will Smith were ejected in the eighth and ninth, respectively.

NW Arkansas Naturals (22-20 second half, 47-65 overall)

Tulsa 5, NW Arkansas 0
LP: Sugar Ray Marimon (6-11)
HR: None

The Naturals were held to three hits and three walks in a complete game shutout by Tulsa's Christian Bergman. Rey Navarro recorded two of the three hits, with Juan Graterol adding a double. Starter Sugar Ray Marimon allowed four runs (three earned), eight hits and a walk over five innings. Jason Bergmann followed with two scoreless innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (16-24 second half, 49-61 overall)

Winston-Salem 8, Wilmington 3
LP: J.C. Sulbaran (0-2 with Wilmington, 3-6 overall)
HR: Tim Ferguson (2)

The Blue Rocks continued their recent slump, losing for the 16th time in 18 games. J.C. Sulbaran was tagged for four runs, seven hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings. Tim Ferguson gave Wilmington an early lead with a two-run homer in the second. Daniel Mateo was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs.

Lexington Legends (25-16 second half, 58-51 overall)

Rome 2, Lexington 1
LP: Christian Binford (7-5)
HR: Kenny Diekroeger (1 with Lexington, 4 overall)

Lexington was held scoreless until the eighth in a loss at Rome. Kenny Diekroeger's leadoff homer brought the Legends to within a run. Lexington had runners in scoring position in the eighth and ninth, but could not push a run across. Starter Christian Binford held Rome to two runs, eight hits and a walk in six innings.

Idaho Falls Chukars (1-2 second half, 20-21 overall)

Idaho Falls 7, Ogden 4
WP: Josiel Martinez (4-2)
HR: None

Idaho Falls scored three in the first and led wire-to-wire in Game 1 at Ogden. Carlos Garcia tripled and scored the first Chukars run. He finished with two hits and two RBIs. Dominique Taylor was 3-for-4 with three runs scored out of the No. 9 spot in the order. Starter Jonathan Dziedzic scattered a hit and three walks in three scoreless innings. Josiel Martinez (2 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 1 ER) leads the team with four wins.

Burlington Royals (18-23)

Princeton 4, Burlington 3 (10 innings)
LP: Ryan Mattes (0-1)
HR: Ramon Torres (3), Pedro Gonzalez (3)

Burlington lost on a walk-off home run by Princeton's Hunter Lockwood. Pedro Gonzalez hit a clutch two-out homer in the ninth to even the game at 3-3. Ramon Torres put Burlington on the board with a two-run shot in the sixth. Tyler Chism recorded two hits and is batting .429 (24-for-56) since joining the B-Royals.

Surprise Royals (4-3 second half, 14-21 overall)

Arizona Dodgers 9, Surprise 7
LP: Carter Hope (0-2)
HR: None

Surprise scored two in the ninth before falling short at Camelback Ranch. Riley King was 3-for-4 with a run scored. Lee's Summit North grad Brandon Dulin doubled twice, drove in a run and scored once. The teams will play again tonight in Surprise.
