Omaha Storm Chasers (47-55)

The Storm Chasers lost in their return to Werner Park as Oklahoma City scored five runs over the final four innings. Starter Everett Teaford limited the RedHawks to a run on four hits and two walks over 5.0 innings. He fanned seven and has a 2.80 ERA in 64.1 innings (20 ER). Irving Falu doubled home Willy Taveras in the third and finished with two of the three Omaha hits.

NW Arkansas Naturals (17-14 2nd half, 42-59 overall)

Arkansas 10, NW Arkansas 3

The Naturals lost game one vs. Arkansas, snapping a four-game winning streak. Jason Adam was solved for eight runs, nine hits and a walk over 4.1 innings. Brian Fletcher was 2-for-3 with a double, a bases-loaded walk and a run. Matt Fields added two hits and his 71st RBI, which ties him for first in the Texas League.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (14-16 2nd half, 47-53 overall)

Carolina 9, Wilmington 4

HR: None

Wilmington dropped to 0-2 at Carolina, the club's eighth straight loss overall. The Mudcats broke a 3-3 tie with five in the fourth. J.C. Sulbaran (3.0 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 4 SO) made his first start since joining the Rocks from Northwest Arkansas. Yem Prades was 2-for-4 with two RBI. Justin Trapp added three hits and a run.

Lexington Legends (20-9 2nd half, 53-44 overall)

Lexington 7, Greenville 3
WP: Christian Binford (6-4)
HR: None

The Legends extended their winning streak to eight games while maintaining a 2.5 game lead in the second-half division race. Christian Binford held the Drive to a run on five hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. Every Lexington batter recorded at least one hit. Adalberto Mondesi was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs.

Idaho Falls Chukars (14-17)

Idaho Falls 5, Missoula 3
WP: Zeb Sneed (2-1)
SV: Kyle Bartsch (1)
HR: Zane Evans (2)

The Chukars scored five late runs in a home win. Zane Evans hit a two-run homer in the seventh, his second in as many days. Hunter Dozier gave Idaho Falls the lead for good with a run-scoring double in the eighth. Cody Stubbs recorded four hits in five trips.

Burlington Royals (14-16)

Burlington 6, Pulaski 1
WP: Sam Lewis (2-2)
HR: Tyler Chism (3)

Burlington earned a rubber game win behind strong pitching from Jake Newberry (6.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO) and Sam Lewis (3.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 SO). Tyler Chism hit his third home run in his last five games. He has hit safely in all seven games since joining Burlington from Wilmington.

Surprise Royals (10-16)

Arizona Cubs 2, Surprise 1
LP: Hunter Haynes (0-4)
HR: None

Surprise lost at Mesa and a former Royal played a big role for the Cubs. David DeJesus was 2-for-4 with a double and both runs in his second rehab game. Hunter Haynes allowed the two runs on three hits over 4.0 innings. Igor Feliz followed with 4.0 scoreless frames.
