What is the status of the 2020 MLB regular season?

Major League Baseball recently announced its plans for clubs to resume preseason training, and soon thereafter, begin the 2020 regular season. All of us with the Detroit Tigers join fans across the globe in their excitement that baseball is back! View Schedule

Will there be games at Comerica Park in 2020?

The Detroit Tigers are excited to begin regular season play at Comerica Park on July 27, 2020. The 2020 season will feature 30 regular season home games at Comerica Park, starting in July and concluding in September.

The Tigers will continue to share updates regarding fans being permitted to attend 2020 regular season home games when available.

What should I do if I hold a ticket to a 2020 Detroit Tigers home game?

With the new 2020 schedule released, your account will be credited in the amount of any paid tickets that you held for the original 2020 season and your tickets will no longer be active. You will earn a 30% bonus on all funds left on your account. Your account credit (130% of what you paid for tickets this season) can be used for tickets in the 2020 or 2021 season.

I'm part of the 1901 Society – how has my membership been impacted?

Your account will be credited in the amount of any paid tickets that you held for the original 2020 season. Providing peace of mind and rewarding our 1901 Society Members for their continued loyalty and support is our main objective. Consistent with our ticket policy for April/May games, you will earn a 30% bonus on all funds left on your account.

Your account credit (130% of what you paid for this season’s membership) can be used in a variety of ways:

  • Purchase tickets to 2020 Tigers games if/when fans are allowed back in Comerica Park (As a 1901 Society member, you will get special priority access to these tickets)
  • Enhance your gameday experience by upgrading your seat location or adding seats for friends and family
  • Special behind-the-scenes experiences for the 2021 season that take you closer to the action than ever before
  • Host your family, work, social group, or sports team in a suite or hospitality space
  • Renewal of your 1901 Society Membership for the 2021 Season (Your original 2020 seat location will be available for you)

What if I have tickets to what was scheduled to be the home opener on March 30?

If you have tickets for what was scheduled to be the home opener, your account will be credited with the amount paid for your Opening Day purchase, plus an additional 30% bonus credit for leaving funds on account to be used on Tigers tickets at a later date. I purchased tickets through a resale site. What should I do?

All tickets purchased through a resale site (e.g. StubHub, Vivid Seats, etc.) will be subject to the policy of the ticket marketplace. Please contact the site’s customer service department for more information.

Can I receive a refund for impacted games?

If you wish you receive a refund for impacted 2020 Detroit Tigers Home Games, please e-mail us at [email protected].

Is my pre-paid parking pass refundable?

All parking passes are eligible for a full refund, except where noted otherwise. If your event was impacted, you are entitled to receive an account credit or a full refund. After the event is cancelled, you will receive an email from ParkWhiz detailing the cancellation. You have the option to get a refund or keep a credit on your account. In the case that your event was postponed, your parking pass will update automatically to reflect the new event date. If you’re unable to make the rescheduled event, you’re welcome to cancel your updated pass by following the normal cancellation steps.

If you decide to cancel, simply log in to your account online at or in the ParkWhiz app, view your passes and click "cancel." You can also do this using the "cancel" link at the bottom of the pass itself. Alternatively, just click the “cancel” link from your confirmation email.

Please keep in mind that parking purchased on a partner website or as part of a parking package is non-refundable. Other restrictions apply to hangtag validation.
