CSI: FORENSIC SCIENCE DAY

April 11, 2019 vs. Cleveland Indians

The presentation includes speakers from several areas of Forensic Science. Speakers provide their own personal testimony in education, experience and career. Students will see an interactive educational experience in areas of Forensic Science from Captain Beth A. Clark - Commander, Forensic Science Division at Michigan State Police.

JOURNALISM DAY

April 18, 2019 vs. Chicago White Sox

Recommended for middle, high school and early college students.

The presentation includes speakers from several areas of journalism. Speakers provide their own personal testimony in education, experience and career. Students will hear about the art of sports storytelling and how the news is released across multiple platforms. Areas of specialty: print media, photo journalism, social media and radio-television sports journalism.
 

CAREER DAY

May 9, 2019 vs. Los Angeles Angels

Recommended for middle, high school and early college students.

This presentation includes speakers from several areas in the sports industry. Speakers provide their own personal testimony of education, experience and career.   Careers covering: marketing, sales, media relations, park operations, broadcasting, community relations and more. Stay in the game by learning several career sports, besides being an athlete.

S.T.E.A.M. DAY

May 16, 2019 vs. Oakland Athletics

Recommended for middle and early high schools students.

The presentation includes speakers from several areas of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Speakers provide their own personal testimony in education, experience and career. Students will hear about the various professions in STEAM, including web design, video game design and automotive engineering.

WEATHER DAY

May 23, 2019 vs. Miami Marlins

Recommended for elementary and middle school students.

This presentation is hosted by FOX-2 Weather Authority and the Imagination Station. The program displays science experiments and task such as: how clouds are made, how to create a rocket, anemometers, barometers and others. It is a fun, on-site display of science, weather and baseball.
