Monday night's game between the Twins and Marlins at Target Field has been postponed because of inclement weather in the Minneapolis area.
The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader at 7:10 p.m. CT on Tuesday. The first game, originally scheduled to be the final game of a two-game series, is to begin at 1:10 p.m. CT.
There was a winter storm warning in effect in the area Monday afternoon, with an 80- to 100-percent chance of rain and snow tonight and temperatures in the mid-40s and high 30s.
Miami's Ricky Nolasco (0-2, 3.86 ERA) was scheduled to pitch Monday against Minnesota's Kevin Correia (1-1, 2.95). The postponement was the Twins' fourth in a just over a week, the previous one occurring Friday night in Chicago.
