Twins 2019 single-game tickets on sale January 22 at 10:00 am

Home slate includes Opening Day on March 28, 'Joe Mauer Day' on June 15 and season-high 16 August games; Special ticket offers for 2019 also announced

The Minnesota Twins today announced that single-game tickets for the 2019 regular season will go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 10:00 a.m. Fans can purchase single-game tickets for all Twins home games at Target Field, including Opening Day March 28 vs. Cleveland, at twinsbaseball.com, using MLB Ballpark app, calling 1-800-33-TWINS, or by visiting the main ticket office located near Gate 29 at Target Field. Additionally, the Twins have announced their special ticket offers for 2019.

The Twins open a season at home for the 23rd time in Minnesota history, hosting the Cleveland Indians on March 28-31 in the major league managerial debut for Rocco Baldelli. Other highlights of Minnesota's 2019 home schedule include "Joe Mauer Day" on June 15 against Kansas City, a three-game series with the defending World Series Champion Boston Red Sox (June 17-19), Twins Hall of Fame Weekend (Aug. 3-4 vs. the Royals) and 42 contests between Memorial Day (May 27) and Labor Day (Sept. 2). Additionally, the Twins will play 10 home Interleague games, hosting regional rival Milwaukee (May 27-28), along with National League East foes New York (July 16-17), Atlanta (Aug. 5-7) and Washington (Sept. 10-12).

The Twins busiest home month comes in August, with 16 games at Target Field, including three weekend series and the club's longest homestand of the season, a 10-gamer Aug. 2-11 (featuring Kansas City, Atlanta and Cleveland). Additionally, the Twins are slated to play three home games in March (including the earliest home opener in Minnesota history), 12 in April, 13 in May, 12 in June, 12 in July and 13 in September. Minnesota plays each of its American League Central Division rivals 19 times apiece: Chicago (9 home/10 away), Cleveland (10 home/9 away), Detroit (9 home/10 away) and Kansas City (10 home/9 away).
