Twins reveal 45-stop Winter Caravan details

Baldelli, 11 players among personnel scheduled to take part

The Twins announced plans on Thursday for their 59th annual Winter Caravan presented by Case IH, which will feature 45 stops in 38 cities across Twins Territory from Jan. 14-24.
In addition to new manager Rocco Baldelli, 10 current Twins players will be involved in this year's caravan: , , Jake Cave, , , , , , and . They will be led on the tours by members of the television and radio broadcast teams, including Bert Blyleven, Dick Bremer, Dan Gladden, Cory Provus, Jack Morris and Kris Atteberry.
Twins fans will also get a chance to connect with Alex Kirilloff, the organization's No. 2 prospect and 2018 Minor League Player of the Year, at the annual Hot Stove Banquet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Kirilloff played 65 games with the Class A Cedar Rapids Kernels in 2018.
As always, the caravan will feature current and former players visiting schools, hospitals, corporations and service clubs during the day and a Hot Stove program each evening. The Twins will again participate in Play Ball initiatives at certain schools on the tour, where players will take part in hands-on baseball activities with selected participants.

The second annual Twins Ice Fishing Classic is set to take place on Jan. 21, on the first day of the route to be taken by Berrios, Rosario and Baldelli. The tournament is slated to begin at 11 a.m. CT on Madison Lake, near Mankato, Minn.
During the first week of the caravan, Hildenberger and Gonsalves will head southwest with Morris and Provus to make stops in communities across South Dakota and western and southwest Minnesota. Their nights will be spent at Sioux Falls, S.D.; Worthington, Minn.; Willmar, Minn.; and St. Paul. Cave and Austin will drive south with Bremer for night events in Rochester, Minn.; Iowa Falls, Iowa; Winona, Minn.; and Red Wing, Minn.
The following week, Berrios, Rosario, Baldelli and Atteberry will make night stops in Mankato; St. Cloud, Minn.; Bemidji, Minn.; and Duluth, Minn., and will be joined on the last day by Rogers and Adrianza.
Sano, Garver, Blyleven and Gladden will travel to North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota, with night stops in the North Dakota cities of Bismarck, Grand Forks and Fargo, and another in Fergus Falls, Minn.
