Twins to celebrate Pride Night at Target Field on Monday

The Minnesota Twins will be celebrating "Pride Night" at Target Field on Monday, July 9 as a part of the team's ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion. The Twins will include multiple game day elements as they host the Kansas City Royals with first pitch at 7:10 p.m.

A special theme night ticket package is available and includes an exclusive Minnesota Twins Pride Night hat. In addition, a portion of each ticket package purchased will go to support One Heartland, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth and families facing significant health challenges or social isolation. The Twins are also partnering with Gay For Good, an organization that aims to energize and mobilize the LGBT+ community to interact with the greater community by volunteering their time to various social welfare and environmental service projects.u5:p

As part of the Pride Night festivities, there will be live music performances by Freedom Jazz, the National Anthem will be sung by the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus, and ceremonial first pitches will be thrown by members of Gay for Good and One Heartland.
